Qingdao and Daejeon build economic partnership

Qingdao recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) concerning an economic partnership with the city of Daejeon in the Republic of Korea, which is now the tenth partner city of Qingdao, Qingdao Daily reported on Feb 28.

According to the MOU, the two cities will support each other in bilateral business with an exchange of information and preferential policies for investment and trade. They will aim to enhance communication on research and development – with a focus on marine science, construction of industrial parks, IT development, tourism and exhibitions - and cooperation projects related to the economy, humanities trade, technology and tourism.
