Competition Rules

1) All participators for questions-answering should register on Qingdaonews.com and provide your valid ID on registration to get the award at the end of this competition.

3) 100pcs questions have three kinds of scores—2, 5, 10, which are allocated depending on hard and easy. When log on for question-answering, pick up 10pcs from questions database each time at random. After finishing, scores to be gained will be different depending on how it is easy or hard.

4) The competition permits participators to  log on the index to answer questions repeatedly. The system will memorize each participator's highest score automatically and pick the winners randomly based on it.

Activity

This activity consists of  two sectors: question-answering and article-soliciting.

Questions cover Qingdao’s economy, culture, festival-celebrating, folk-custom and tourism etc.

100pcs questions with different scores are allocated depending on hard and easy. When log on for question-answering, pick up 10pcs from questions database each time at random. After finishing, scores will be different depending on how the questions are easy or hard.

The results better, the rank higher.  And the system will rank winners who get the same socore randomly.

Articles soliciting in the name of QINGDAO IN MY EYE.  Without topic limitation, the article's length should be within 1500 words. Before decision on awards, some choosen articles will be published in Qingdaonews.com and related media.

Award

1) The top 200 participators for question-answering can get CD of My Qingdao. The same person can only have one award, based on valid ID and name.

2) The top ten winner for question-answering, in addition to Music CD, can have one stamp volume in the name of Meet in Olympic, Sail in Qingdao, which is focusing on special theme of Olympics and giving prominence to individuation of Qingdao.

3) With reference to article-soliciting, would adopt the way of choosing through experts’ appraisal combined with appraisal by net-surfing persons to conduct award-giving.

4) The top 10 winners for questions-answering and the top 15 for articles-soliciting non-local net-surfing persons can win 2-day free accommodation in star-rating Hotels in Qingdao. It is requested that this quota is only valid for the participator herself or himself till the end of 2003 and would blank out for overdue or hands change.
