The 10-day 75th Nantes Expo in France ended recently. With "Meeting the Olympics, Sailing in Qingdao" as its theme, Qingdao's city promotion work at the expo also drew a successful close.

　　Over 850 enterprises from a dozen countries attended the e xpo that featured the city of Qingdao. In the course of the expo, Qingdao delegates presented their Chinese calligraphy and paper cutting works and performed 60 concerts with traditional Chinese musical instruments.

　　The charms of Qingdao and the traditional Chinese culture caught the most attention. Major local newspapers gave a series of special reports about Qingdao. Seven documentaries such as the Olympic Sailing City, Ship on the Land, and Laoshan under the "Nantes-Qingdao TV week" enabled the local audience to better understand the city of Qingdao and lent success to Qingdao's city image and the 2008 Regatta promotions. Many people expressed their wishes to visit the sailing competition in Qingdao while local entrepreneurs showed great interest in cooperation with Qingdao's business partners.
