A drunkard in Jining, Shandong Province, who knocked on what he thought was the door of a waitress he had fallen in love with at first sight was thrown into the sea as punishment.

　　Zhang, a migrant worker, was overcome by passionate love for a waitress when he saw at a restaurant on Sunday.

　　After a night of heavy drinking, he returned to find the girl but went to the wrong restaurant. When staff refused to let him in he swore at them.

　　The irritated door staff then bound Chen up and threw him into the sea. Police rescued Zhang and are now investigating the matter.
