This year more than 80,000 households will change their coal gas to natural gas. 8,600 households will change their cookers by April 7th.

The first lot of natural gas users are residents living to the north of Huancheng nan road at Licang District, and to the east of Cho ngqing Road. The residents can renovate their gas cooker free of charge or buy new ones with discount. The cooker changing time is between March 18th and 28th. Natural gas will enter houses on March 29th. The natural gas has been introduced to Qingdao from the Zhongyuan Oil Field since the end of last year. Some 2000 households are now using natural gas. According to the government's plan, the 320,000 households who are now using pipe coal gas will change into natural gas in three years time.
