Qingdao is going to make more efforts to have 2 or 3 local enterprises being listed on the stock market next year. This was revealed in a conference held recently.

Qingdao has currently 9 enterprises with 10 stocks being listed on the stock market and another 24 are planned to be lis ted which include Growful medicine, Haiwang paper industry and liquen group. Some of these enterprises are making preparations for financial audits now.

Vice Mayor Zhangrui said Qingdao should make more efforts to have its enterprises listed.

Concerned departments should further explore resources and motivate foreign invested and non-

government run enterprises to be listed. The 24 enterprises are asked to treat this issue seriously and solve their problems as soon as possible.
