The 10th Qingdao International Sand Sculpture Contest is going to be held at the Stone Old Man Bathing Place between Sep.27th and Oct. 13th. Along with the Sculpture Contest there will be a photography contest and also other activities.

Qingdao has taken the lead to sponsor the sand sculpture contest in China since 1992. The contest has been successfully held for 9 times. This year's contest, with the theme of Blue Fantasy, will depict fairy tales and historic stories.
