The 2002 Qingdao Ho using and Real Estate Fair was held at the International Convention and exhibition Center between Aug.28 and 31st. More than 300 real estate enterprises and 200 construction materials suppliers attended the fair.

The fair consisted of 4 parts--new building promotoin,housing demostration,second hand house exchange and lectures given by experts. Most of the on display buildings are located in the Fushan new residential area, the beach areas in the Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone and beach areas in the east part of the city. Many visitors were attracted to these residential buildings.

The designs of communities and residential buildings saw an updating at the fair. The theory of people foremost was adopted in the design of residential areas. And house prices saw a steady increase. Dedicatedly decorated houses are taking the place of semifinished houses. The fair also offers more than 2500 pieces of information on second hand house exchange.
