The China Forum for Medical Biotechnology was held recently in Qingdao

       As the medical biotechnology is increasingly becoming a key factor behind a nation's economic and social development, the stem cell technique, as the most far-reaching and promising technology, has many technological edges over the traditional approaches. It can be widely applied in the treatment of diabetes, nervous system diseases, malignant tumors and among other incurable diseases and is being targeted by medical scientists across the globe.

       At the forum the China Medicinal Biotech Association also recognized the hospital attached to the Qingdao University as its stem cell research and development center in Qingdao.
