The 2007 China's top 500 Enterprises was announced recently in Wuhan, with Sinopec ranking No. 1 and 9 Qingdao enterprises being on the list.

       38 Shandong enterprises are on the list, among which, Qingdao has 9. Hai'er, with 107.5 billion Yuan of sales headed over the rest and stayed as No. 28 among the top 500. Yizhong Tobacco, Aucma, Guangyuanfa was nudged out while Hisense, Qingdao Steel, Qingdao Beer, Liqun, Double Star, the Qingdao Construction Company secured their positions in the list. The threshold for this year's top 500 enterprises is 7.22 billion Yuan of sales.

       The top 500 manufacturers and top 500 businesses in the service sector were also shown to the public with 10 Qingdao manufacturers and 15 companies in the service industry entering the lists, respectively.
