A survey on the quality of tourist service shows that Qingdao tourist receiving work has been improved, with "the tour guide service" being recognized by travelers as the most satisfactory one.
The local tourist department has carried out the on-the-spot survey in the tourist resorts since July 1. It covered over 80 tourist agencies and received 1,430 questionnaires. 86.85% of the travelers felt fine with the tourist agencies' work.
Tour guides and bus drivers working for the tourist agencies received most of the compliments in the survey, indicating this industry has been better aware of business in good faith and quality service. In addition, the transparent and open operation of all the local tourist agencies has enabled tourists to supervise the guests receiving work as well.
With the increasing number of star and business hotels, accommodation has also improved. Qingdao now is quite able to receive guests in tourist season, all reflecting the city's improved tourist environment.
