The Excellent Local Entrepreneur Recognition Conference was held recently at the local municipal conference center with 26 entrepreneurs being commended.

       The 26 candidates were the result of official selection and the public notification. Representatives of the excellent entrepreneurs of Qingdao, they have led their enterprises forward and boosted Qingdao's fast economic growth. 13 of them are from the software industry, printing and seaweed production companies, accounting for half of the prize winners.

       Either from the state owned businesses or from the individually owned, they all have had a keen sense of social responsibilities. Under their leadership, the enterprises could place high valuation on the development of proprietary intellectual property rights, and put into wide use of the energy saving techniques.

       With the growth of this team, Qingdao now has had Zhang Ruimin, Chang Chuande and among other 13 entrepreneurs who have been recognized as the excellent entrepreneurs at the national level. Another 50 have been commended as Shandong's excellent entrepreneurs and 282, as excellent entrepreneurs of the local level.
