Sino-Korean memorandum of understanding signed

　　A memorandum of understanding for model Sino-Korean carload shipment was signed at Shangri-La Hotel.

　　Among the international strait transportations, the car load shipment is considered as the most convenient, efficient and cost-saving means of transportation. China and Korea enjoy a unique edge in developing carload shipment due to the geographical locations of the two countries. The trial Sino-Korean carload shipment, for example, the cargoes are first loaded in cars at the Qingdao or Incheon airport, then loaded on board at the seaports and by water reach the destination. This type of transportation can shorten the transit time of cross-country cargoes within 40 hours, which will greatly save time and reduce costs.
