The annual Qingdao Fashion Week will be held in the seaside resort in East China`s Shandong Province from September 23 to 26.

　　It will include nearly 20 catwalk shows, a fabric and ready-to-wear fair, a nation-wide fashion design contest for student designers, a modelling contes t and a forum on the China fashion industry. One of China`s main textile bases, Qingdao first held the annual show in 2001.

　　The aim of the event is to give exposure to local brands and designers while attracting established fashion companies to invest in Qingdao and co-operate with local manufacturers.(SD News)
