120 million tons of crude oil was imported through Shandong ports in 2016, increasing by 57% year-on-year. Both import volume and growth set a record new high. The average price is CNY 1,986, down by 17.6%, reached a record low since 2004. Among them 56.05 million tons crude oil was imported through Qingdao port, accounting nearly half of the whole Shandong, and nearly 1/7 of whole China, set a record high.     CRRH Qingdao Sifang got the 1st deal of China H-powered tram

    The CRRH Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd. and Foshan Gaoming Modern Rail Transportation Construction Investment Company have signed turnkey contract of the initial phase project of modern rail transportation model line project of Gaoming district of Foshan recently. The CRRH Sifang will provide 8 hydrogen-powered trams to the project. This is the 1st signed H-powered tram contract in China.

    The modern rail tram model line of Gaoming district of Foshan is the 1st H-powered rail tramline of China. The H-powered tram will be adopted in the line. The route is planned to be about 17.4km long with 20 stations. The project will be built in two phases.

    According to the contract, CRRH Qingdao Sifang will provide vehicles and devices such as signal devices, technical devices, and ticket system to the project. 8 H-powered trams will be provided in the initial phase project. The trains will be 100% low-floor articulated modern train, each train contains 3 blocks, with maximum load of 285, and the highest speed is 70km/h.

    Hydrogen tram is a new modern rail tram. It’s powered by hydrogen battery, which is different from regular tram. It not only has long running distance, but also can run without connecting to the grid. Only water discharged in the running, which enables 0-carbon emission.     Qingdao: the 1st liquid chemicals of Dongjiakou port passed review

    The Dongjiakou liquid chemicals port project of Qingdao port passed review recently. As the 1st liquid chemicals port, it will further improve the function and competitiveness of the port after put into use.

    The Qingdao Haiwan Liquid Chemicals Port Company built the port, which is the north side area of dangerous chemicals port pool of Dongjiakou mouth operation zone of Dongjiakou port area. A 30,000-ton and a 20,000-ton liquid chemicals berth were built. The coastal line is 453.8 meters, with a designed throughput capacity of 2.6 million tons annually. In the trial operation period, the port shows firm structure, loading equipment, and supporting devices run well, the good performance of the port in general reached the expectancy. After the project launched, it will supply imported liquid chemicals such as ethane and propene to petro chemical deep processing projects of Qingdao through public chemicals channel, it also will provide convenient marine transportation and loading service and warehousing service to further improve the function of the port to boost logistics and harbor industries of the Dongjiakou port zone to enhance the competitiveness of petro chemical industries of Qingdao.
