Qingdao Subway Line No. 2 will open to traffic at the end of this year. Last week the first batch of electric passenger trains on this line made their appearance and were formally under testing.

The electric passenger train on the line No. 2 is B type. The line is totally composed of 25 trains and each train consists of 4 motors, 2 locomotives and 6 carriages. The maximum running speed is 80km/h, the entire train has 248 seats and the maximum holding capacity is 1,896 people.
