A man in his late 50s divorced his innocent wife after his B blood type was wrongly recorded as O at odds with their daughter's.
Liu was told he had type-O blood after donating in Daqing, Heilongjiang province, in 1999.
The mistake was only discovered years later when, recording all his family members' blood types, he found his daughter's was type B and not O like his and his wife's.
Suspecting her of falling pregnant to another man, he divorced her.
But later his B type was confirmed in another hospital.
"I'm going to sue the blood donation center," he said.
