There were 7.5 million square
meters of houses traded last year. More second hand houses
changed hands than newly built ones, the per capita house area
reached 19.4 square meters in the city¡¯s urban districts.
It was learned from the city¡¯s
construction sector that the city has newly built 5.38 million
square meter¡¯s of houses and 4.53 million square meters have
been sold out last year. The city¡¯s four urban districts are
key areas for the development of commodity housing. Laoshan,
Huangdao and Chengyang accounted for one third of the city¡¯s
total development.
