Transportation Conference that the city will invest 3.12
billion Yuan on road construction in 2004. 1.8 billion Yuan
will be invested in key projects, which includes an 800
million Yuan investment in the beach road construction. The
second phase of the Qingdao to Yinchuan Expressway, with an
investment of one billion Yuan, will be under construction. .
The city will also invest 700 million Yuan in 13 projects
which include the extension of national highway 204 and
extension of Zhengyan West Road. Two waterways will be built
up this year, including the Yinhai Tourism Wharf and Nantun
Wharf at Huangdao District. The main road construction will
cover the building of east long distance bus station and
prepare for the building of the west station. (top86)
