| A survey to
450 local enterprises show that, during the 3rd quarter of this year, the city's
enterprise prosperity index reached 147.7, 35 points higher than that of the 2nd
quarter, which indicates that the operation situation of the local enterprises
has made remarkable
improvement.
During the 3rd quarter of this year, the local super large
and the large enterprises' prosperity index reached 184, 60 points higher than
that of the 2nd quarter. The indexes of medium sized and the small enterprises
were 128 and 124 respectively, 18 points higher than that of the 2nd quarter.
The city's fixed assets prosperity index was 119, which still remained a very
strong increasing tendency. The nice operation situation of the enterprises
brought great benefits to the enterprises. The index of the local enterprises'
after-tax profits reached 123, 25 points higher than that of the 2nd quarter.
