Statistics show that local industry has enjoyed rapid growth during Jan and Feb. The economic efficiency realized large pace increase. And the industrial production showed a good development tendency.

Statistics show that in the first two months this year, the reportable enterprises realized a sales income of 32.19 billion Yuan, increasing 25% over that of last year. The realized profits tax totaled up to 2.28 million Yuan, increasing 49% over that of last year. And profit totaled up to 930 million Yuan, increasing 71.5%. The increase of the profit surpassed the increase of production value. The large pace of economic benefit increase in the first two months this year attributed greatly to the following two factors. First, the large benefit increase of state-owned enterprises. The state-owned enterprises realized a profits tax of 1.43 billion Yuan, increasing 74.9% over that of last year, 25.7% higher than that of the average increasing rate of the city. Their profit amounted to 469 million Yuan, 128% up over that of last year. Secondly, the 10 largest companies have made distinguished contribution to the city's economic increase. They reached a profits tax of 1.26 billion Yuan, accounting for 55% of the total of the reportable enterprises. Their profit hit 524 million Yuan, accounting for 56% of the city's industrial profit.
