“I shall let the bullet train assembled by me run faster and safe to gain reputation,” this is the motto of Guo Rui, a tongman from CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd. who received the national May 1 work medal. As a blue-collar expert in the bullet train and city metro in China, Guo and his team have assembled over 1,000 bullet trains, which enjoy over 1.6 billion kilometers safe running.

    Guo now has Guo Rui Worker Model Innovation Studio and GuoRui Skilled Master Studio with his name, and did 192 key projects to solve more than 350 practical tech problems. They also invented 140 skills for assembly lines to create over CNY 30 million economic benefits. (Zhang Jin)
