The Qingdao port and St. Petersburg port signed brother port relation agreement on 21st March Russian local time. Currently the Qingdao friend circle expands to 20 brother ports. According to the agreement, both parties will strengthen ties in multi areas in terms of port development and construction, operation and management, green and low-carbon, employee training, process optimization, efficiency improvement. Information share system also will be established. Mutual help will be given in business promotion activities.

    As the largest port in Russia, St. Petersburg port is the key access from Russia to Europe, and the key link of transportation between the east and the west. The port has container port, bulk and conventional port, liquid cargo port, ro-ro port, cruiser port and railway-shipping multi-transportation wharf.
