As the major cultural industry project boosted by the Linshan Bay Movie and TV Cultural Industry Park, 14 film studios including this one will be completed and delivered within 2017. At that time Oriental Movie Metropolis will have 30 film studios and 24 scene shops.

    According to the China Construction Group No.8 bureau Qingdao company project manager Li Guangdong, this film studio giant is 168 meters long, 60 meters wide, 27.5 meters high, and 9 floors. It covers an area of about 2 ordinary football stadiums. Besides large space, the film studio has both advanced hardware and software, the number of its noise-proof doors is as many as 12. It also has noise-reducing air-conditioner. Both technologies and facilities of the studio are world-leading level. The film studio also has fully functional work studios for the film crew, VIP fitting rooms, washing rooms, and rest rooms are all included.

    As the 1st and only extra large film and TV production base fit for international standard in China, the metropolis invites the UK famous Pinewood Studios as the design and construction counselor to build a world top-level TV and film production base. As the world’s largest professional film studio, it customized for international blockbusters to meet the extra large scene demand of them.

    According to the project constructor, the studio is to be delivered as scheduled within 2017. At the same time, the 14 film studios and 13 scene shops under construction will be completed within 2017. Qingdao is on its way to become the TV and film capital.

    In the upcoming 3 years there will be 11 Hollywood movies shot in the metropolis, 98 film and TV production companies have settled in Linshan bay.
