Many Fortune Global 500 enterprises have come to Qingdao to invest or do business. In the past three quarters, the Fortune Global 500 enterprises signed and established 21 foreign-invested projects in Qingdao with the total investment amount of 1.89 billion USD, 1.24 billion USD of which is foreign-funded.

    The Fortune Global 500 enterprises making investments in Qingdao include Volkswagen Group, Maersk, Bombardier, Siemens, and Amazon. The investment fields cover the auto, container, rail traffic, storage and logistics, wholesale and retail, and agricultural product processing.

    According to the related statistics, 130 enterprises of the overseas Fortune Global 500 enterprises have invested and set up 255 projects in Qingdao.
