Fang Suo, touted as China's most beautiful chain of bookstores, will open its fourth outlet in Qingdao, in east China's Shandong province on June 30, Qingdao Daily reported.
The new store is being launched off the back of the success of the chain's previous three stores, which are located in Guangzhou, Chongqing and Chengdu.

Unlike many other bookstores, Fang Suo is not just about books. The stores are also aimed at providing a peaceful and cultural space, integrating knowledge, wisdom and art.
The stores have areas for cultural exhibitions such as traditional dress displays as well as places to sit, read and drink coffee.

Upon opening, the branch will invite a number of film, publishing, culture and music academics to hold talks and discussions, as part of the chain's remit to promote cultural experiences.
The children's book area of the store is brightly decorated in the style of a pleasant dream, and in July it will hold an open reading and interactive activity for kids, featuring the famous children's book rabbit, Miffy.

Fang Suo's Qingdao store covers an area of 3,400 square meters over two floors.
The founder of the shop, Fang Jihong, said, "Fang Suo is committed to providing a loving place for people to conduct cultural and spiritual exchanges."
