The 1st national agricultural park project was signed by Chinese Ministry of Agriculture, Pingdu Government and Chashan Group recently, the park will be built into a national rural trip model base integrating leisure agriculture, eco agriculture, agricultural culture and technical agriculture.

    The park, as the 1st and only such park in China, covers an area of 30 square meters, with CNY 5 billion investment. Led by the agricultural ministry, the park will be built by Dianzi town of Pingdu city, which nears tea mountain tourist zone; it will set benchmark for review and appraisal for agricultural parks in China.

    The construction time will last from 2016 to 2018; the agricultural ministry will set academian work station and post-doctoral work station in the zone jointly with national agriculture research institutes and colleges.
