As an old Chinese saying goes: turnip for Rudong and Chinese cabbage for Xiaoxue. Xiaoxue is the best harvest time for the Jiaozhou Chinese cabbage. Farmers in the fields of Liangxiang Village of Licha Town of Jiaozhou busy with packing Chinese cabbage to send them to cold room. After one day and one night in the cold room, these Chinese cabbage will be exported to Malaysia.

    The Qingdao Shenghe vegetable planting cooperative has signed Chinese cabbage export agreement with Malaysia in this July, it plans to expand cabbage planting area to 10,000 mu in a dozen of villages such as Xuejiahe village of Puji town and Licha town of Jiaozhou in next 3-5 years, and now over 100 million kilograms cabbage have been exported.
