From October 2nd to 6th, the Qingdao municipal news culture delegation, composed of relevant members from the Qingdao Municipal News Office, Overseas Chinese Affairs Administration office, Foreign Affairs Administration Office held the presentation named “Charming Qingdao” and news culture exchanges in Australia and New Zealand.

    On October 2nd, in Adelaide, the capital of South Australia the delegation attended the “Asian Culture Festival” supported by the Adelaide municipal government and undertaken by relevant institutions and held a picture exhibition named “Charming Qingdao”, which attracted many Australian friends. On October 3rd, the delegation went to Sydney and had a meeting with the relevant principals of Rainbow TV Australia, the only local Chinese TV station and held the premier broadcasting ceremony of “Qingdao TV Week”. Starting October 4th, the station would play series TV program “China Qingdao” for 7 consecutive days. On October 5th, the delegation held the presentation of “Charming Qingdao” in Dunedin, the capital of Otago Province, New Zealand. On October 6th, in Auckland, New Zealand, the delegation held the “Charming Qingdao” picture exhibition and social gathering named “Qingdao Charm”, which pushed the presentation series activities to the climax.
