Li Fengli, secretary general of Qingdao’s expo executive committee, gave an expo mascot named “Qingqing” to her.

Kuttawas visited the Thai Garden and expressed her satisfaction. “Qingdao expo is very successful with grand venues and various horticultures, showcasing the traditional Chinese culture to the visitors,” she said. “We can learn more from Qingdao if given the opportunity to host an international horticultural Expo.”

The delegation also brought with them a traditional dancing performance, originating from the agricultural region in the northeast of Thailand. Featuring lively rhythms, the dance displays the optimism of Thais.

The Thai Garden also prepared a quiz show as a highlight for the visitors. “We hope Qingdao expo can deepen the relationship between China and Thailand and help visitors gain a better understanding of Thai culture,” said Li Hongyi, a staff member at Qingdao expo.
