(News from Qingdao Daily) Yesterday afternoon, the deputy secretary of the CPC Qingdao Committee, mayor of Qingdao Xia Geng met with Swiss Ambassador to China Mr. Blaise Godet and his delegation in Shangri-la Hotel.

    The mayor expressed his welcome to the guests. He noted that the cooperation between Qingdao and Switzerland in trade and culture are extended. He hoped through the Ambassador's visit the cooperation between the two sides could be further boosted. Switzerland is strong at chemical, precision machineries and instruments, he hoped the cooperation could be further boosted and more Swiss enterprises could come to Qingdao to make investment to realize mutual benefit and development.

    The Swiss Ambassador to China Mr. Blaise Godet expressed his appreciation to the warm hospitality of Qingdao, he hoped to make effort to boost the friendly exchanges and cooperation of the two sides.
