(News from Qingdao Daily) Yesterday, the signing ceremony of Qingdao Tangdao Bay Ocean Carnival project was held at Shangri-la Hotel. The project, with total investment of 3billion RMB, is a world class large scale indoor water theme park integrating knowledge, fun, entertainment and participation.

    It is learned that the ocean carnival project to be built in Tangdao Bay of Qingdao Development Zone Phoenix Peninsula Tourism Area has total ground floor area of 210,000m2, water entertainment single floor area of about 66000m2, the daily tourist reception capacity of 30,000. Themed as "Indefinite Water Happiness", the project collects the present world leading large scale indoor themed entertainment project, it has 5 themed areas: journey of sea, the daughter of the sea, mystery isle, happy ocean, Shangri-la at sea, featuring water entertainment, water sports, water show, ocean bathing beach, water race, water leisure, fitness center, cartoon world, which will bring splendid experiences of culture, fashion, motion, happiness and charm. Furthermore, there will be functional facilities like fisherman wharf (tourism goods pedestrian street), super scale nightclub, hyper five star cinema, 5-star holiday hotel, large-scale sea food catering supermarket, large scale video games center, fashion shopping mall etc.
