In the RS:X men's medal race held at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing venue, New Zealand's sailor, Tom Ashley, wins the gold medal with fifty two points. Frenchman Julien Bontemps wins the silver with fifty three points and Isralian sailor wins the bronze with fifty eight points. Chinese sailor Wang Aichen placed seventh with ninty five points and Hong Kong sailor Chan Kingyin placed sixth with eighty-four points.
