The 13th North China Travel Fair closed yesterday in Yanbian, a Korean autonomous region in Jilin province. More than 20,000 people from home and abroad attended the fair at which about 400 tourism cooperation contracts in excess of 100 million yuan ($14.6 million) were signed.
Established in 1996, it was the first time the fair had been held in a minority autonomous region. The next host city will be Yantai, Shandong province.
