ISLAMABAD, March 21 -- Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, chairman of Pakistan People's Party (PPP), would announce the party's Prime Minister candidate on Saturday, the party's information secretary said on Friday.
Speaking to reporters here, Sherry Rehman said that Bilawal, son of former PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto, would announce the party's candidate, to whom the Muttahida Quami Movement has offered their support.
President Pervez Musharraf would administer the oath-taking of the new prime minister at the President's House here, local TV channels reported.
Musharraf Thursday summoned the National Assembly session for the election of Prime Minister on Monday.
The PPP emerged as the largest party in the National Assembly in the general elections held on Feb. 18. Two PPP members were elected as the new speaker and deputy speaker at a National Assembly session on Wednesday.
