The first sport meeting for Qingdao's individual enterprises was held recently at the Stadium of the Qingdao University with related provincial and local government officials attending the opening ceremony.

       Over 1,300 athletes from 50 local individual enterprises or so would compete in 36 sport events. At the opening ceremony the local All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce also awarded the enterprises and individuals for their outstanding performances during the activity of "I contribute to the Olympics."
