A farmer in Qingdao, Shandong Province, survived a 50 meter fall off a cliff last Wednesday.

       Zhang was taking a mountain path home on Wednesday morning with his friend Liu. Suddenly Zhang slipped and fell down the deep cliff. A firefighter found Zhang at the bottom of the cliff with his wrist and ribs broken.

       Zhang is now out of danger to his life.
