(Qingdao Aug 16) On Aug 15, the 6th conference of SSCQD was held at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center. Chairman of SSCQD, Mayor Xia Geng emphasized once more that all the departments should cooperate with each other to undertake " Good Luck Beijing--2006 Qingdao Internati onal Regatta".Vice Chairman of SSCQD Wang Wei and Zang Aimin attended the conference.

2006 Qingdao International Regatta will be held from Aug 18 to Aug 31. Till now, all the preparation work has been ready. And the theme of this conference is to hear the report of the preparation work for Qingdao International Regatta including the city operation, event operation and safeguard, etc.

Xia Geng said that this conference is in time. It is helpful for us to undertake this international regatta successfully. Now we should find anb solve the existing problems in time. Although the preparation work is basically ready, we should still do our work well to meet the new challenge from this regatta.
