(SSCQD Aug 13) On Aug 12, Mayor of Southampton John Slade and his wife visited the Qingdao International Sailing Center. Chairman of SSCQD, Mayor Xia Geng accompanied them. They visited the media hall and main breakwater. They also surveyed the sea area of this regatta. Mr Slade highly appraised the venue construction and the preparation work for the international regatta.
