¡¡¡¡China's economic growth has been phenomenal in the past few years. Riding
on this trend, Pays-de-la-Loire, a region in France has reinforced its
cooperative activities with East China?¡¥s Shandong province. In the spring of
2005, a series of visits were exchanged between government of
ficials, business
figures and academic representatives from the two sides. The earliest agreements
between the two sides have all produced generous returns since their signing.
When talking about its cooperation with Shandong, the president of a company
based in Pays-de-la-Loire specialized in making water purifying equipment for
swimming pools said, ?¡ãThrough this exchange of visits, we?¡¥ve got our first few
orders and found two distributors. With the 2008 Olympics underway in Beijing,
China poses enormous potential to us as a market.()
